About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and career-oriented Associate Adviser to join our growing Financial Services team. This role is ideal for someone who has completed, or is nearing completion of, their relevant studies and is looking to build a long-term career in financial advice.
Working alongside experienced advisers, you will gain valuable exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, including complex and interesting advice engagements. Client-focused, you enjoy the challenge of working with technical information and understand the importance of compliance and implementation to meet our client's financial goals.
Working closely with our advisers, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the implementation of a strategy that best fits each client's individual needs.

About You To thrive in this role and build a successful career in financial services, you will bring:
- Completed or be nearing completion of a relevant degree in Financial Planning, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical and research skills with a broad knowledge base and thorough understanding of industry regulations
- Previous experience in a Client Service Manager (CSM), paraplanning, administration, or similar support role within financial services (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- An ability to develop and build on key relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- Flexible and professional attitude.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Client reports on a timely, accurate and cost-effective basis
- Preparation of presentations to clients
- Attendance at client meetings to take notes and participate
- Facilitate through the support team the implementation of recommended strategies
- Ensure all portfolios recommended are in accordance with Investment Committee recommendations and compliance requirements
- Assist with client queries and maintaining their portfolios
- Ensure all strategies are focused on the client’s needs/objectives
- Present at internal training sessions on relevant issues.
- Contribute to technical articles as required.
- Involvement in technical writing for budget analysis
