- Temporary, full time, Clerk Grade 11/12 opportunity ($154,231- $178,369) until 30 April 2027 based in Martin Place, Sydney.

Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period up to 30 April 2027.

About the Role The Associate Director, Industry Missions leads a sector team responsible for designing and implementing investment attraction and industry development initiatives aligned with the NSW Industry Policy, Industry Missions and NSW Trade and Investment Strategy 2035. The role focuses on identifying and advancing strategic investment opportunities that support economic growth, productivity and job creation in NSW.

You will join our Industry Missions team within the Industry and Investment branch in the NSW Investment group. You will work across government, industry and investor networks to identify, attract and advance priority investment projects that support NSW’s economic growth. The role will focus on building investor relationships, progressing high-value opportunities, strengthening NSW’s competitive proposition and converting strategic investment interest into tangible outcomes for the state.

We're Looking For

- Industry Leadership and Investment Attraction: Proven commercial experience attracting investment and delivering investment outcomes, building strategic partnerships and delivering economic growth outcomes.
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across government, industry and investor networks.
- People Leadership and Delivery: Demonstrated leadership experience driving team performance, managing complex initiatives and delivering results in dynamic environments.
