About the Role
This is an important hands-on role that helps ensure every customer receives their vehicle in immaculate condition. You'll play a key part in supporting our Sales and Service Departments by preparing vehicles to the highest standard while maintaining an efficient workflow throughout the dealership.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, repetitive work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and thrives on routine. You'll be someone who takes ownership of your responsibilities, works well independently, and can be relied upon to get the job done every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up bollards in the Service driveway each morning.
- Position the loan vehicle fleet at the reception area.
- Drive customer vehicles safely to and from the car wash and parking areas.
- Wash customer vehicles efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Vacuum vehicle interiors
- Clean vehicle exteriors, including removing stubborn dirt with brushes and detergent where necessary.
- Steam clean engines and engine bays when required.
- Record the registration details of all completed vehicles.
- Return vehicles clean and ready within required timeframes.
About You We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous vehicle washing experience, preferably within a dealership environment.
- Has a strong work ethic and enjoys staying busy throughout the day.
- Is reliable, punctual and takes ownership of their work.
- Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a consistently high standard.
- Takes pride in presenting every vehicle to the highest level of cleanliness.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions.
- Has good organisational and time management skills to meet daily schedules.
- Presents in a friendly and professional manner.
- Holds a current Victorian Driver Licence with a valuable driving record.
- Is committed to maintaining a safe workplace and following all health and safety procedures.
