Barista Course Melbourne is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista Trainer to deliver high-quality barista training programs aligned with modern café standards and industry best practices.
This role involves both practical and theory-based training and is ideal for someone passionate about coffee and mentoring future baristas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured barista training sessions for students.
- Provide hands-on training in espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk texturing, latte art, and specialty coffee preparation.
- Train students in coffee bean selection, grinding techniques, beverage presentation, and equipment use and maintenance.
- Assess student performance and provide coaching to improve consistency and service quality.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista or Barista Trainer in a café, hospitality, or training environment.
- Robust knowledge of espresso preparation, grinder adjustment, milk texturing, latte art, and coffee presentation techniques.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Reliable, well-organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service focus.
