Bluey's World is seeking exceptional performers to join our Experience Team as Character Guides (Gnomes).

This is an opportunity to perform a leading role in a world-class immersive production inspired by Bluey, the internationally acclaimed, Emmy® Award-winning Australian children's television series loved by millions of families around the world.

Featuring life-sized iconic sets and interactive storytelling, Bluey's World invites guests to step into the Heeler family's home like never before. As a Character Guide, you'll help bring that world to life, creating joyful, memorable experiences for children and their families.

While this recruitment is focused on the role of Gnome, successful applicants may also have opportunities to train in additional performance tracks over time, broadening the variety of roles they can perform and the shifts they may be rostered for.

Performance Requirements

Successful applicants will demonstrate

- Experience and/or training in live performance. Experience in immersive theatre, improvisation, children's entertainment, live events, site-specific performance,



and/or clowning is highly desirable.
- A warm, engaging presence that helps children and families feel comfortable, protected and excited to participate.
- Strong vocal ability, with clear diction, vocal projection and the stamina to maintain character voice, tone and performance quality across multiple sessions.
- Strong storytelling ability, comedic timing and the ability to respond confidently and appropriately to live audience interaction.
- Confidence leading structured, interactive experiences including play, movement-based activities and transitions between scenes.
- The ability to learn and execute the Creative Team’s vision, including scripts, choreography, blocking and timing cues, while adapting seamlessly to live variables.

Required Licences · Valid Queensland Government Blue Card for working with children.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.85 – $55.59 per hour
