I'm currently seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join a busy workshop in Mount Thorley, NSW, carrying out the repair, maintenance and fabrication of heavy mining equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing employment with a well-established company, that work nationally in Australia.

The Role

- Location: Mount Thorley, NSW (Workshop Based)
- Pay Rate: Up to $55.00 per hour penalties, depending on experience
- Roster: Monday - Friday (potential for weekend work)
- Hours: 10-12 hour days
- Employment: Ongoing, full-time opportunity
- Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out repair, maintenance and fabrication of heavy mining equipment
- Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding on heavy metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete fabrication tasks accurately
- Fabricate, cut, weld and assemble heavy steel components to specification
- Diagnose and repair worn or damaged plant and equipment components
- Carry out fault-finding and structural repairs on fixed plant and mobile mining equipment
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
- Work within quality and safety standards on all fabrication and repair tasks

What We're Looking For

- Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)




- Demonstrated experience with Flux Core (FCAW) welding
- Strong background in heavy metal fabrication
- Experience repairing mining equipment or heavy industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Relevant trade qualifications, tickets and licences

Highly Regarded

- Previous Leading Hand, Supervisor or other leadership experience
- Forklift, Overhead Crane, Dogging, Rigging, Working at Heights, Confined Space or other relevant industry tickets
- Experience working in mining, heavy industrial or fixed plant maintenance environments
