About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Boilermaker to join the team at NORLINE ENGINEERING PTY LTD in Pinelands, NT. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse fabrication and assembly projects in a dynamic, professional environment. As a Boilermaker, you will play a vital role in the construction, assembly, and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, and other metal structures.

This position is central to our operations and requires someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate, assemble, metal structures according to technical specifications and engineering drawings

- Operate welding equipment and other fabrication machinery to join metal components with precision and accuracy

- Perform quality inspections and pressure testing to ensure all work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand project requirements

- Collaborate with other tradespeople and engineers to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any faults or maintenance needs

- Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe working environment

- Undertake routine maintenance and repairs of existing boiler and pressure vessel installations

What we're looking for

- A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in boilermaking or a related welding/fabrication trade

- Proven experience working as a Boilermaker in industrial or manufacturing settings

- Strong proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately





- Sound knowledge of pressure vessel construction standards and relevant safety regulations

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
