Boilermaker

RPC Diesel & Hydraulics is a well-established, family-owned business based in Townsville. We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team.

This role offers a variety of work across fixed plant and heavy machinery components, as well as outstanding mix of workshop and field service work, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy in their day.

Key Responsibilities

- Welding, repairs and maintenance across all heavy vehicles and equipment
- Fabrication of plant components, machinery and structural steel
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and site requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised, and protected workshop environment

Skills & Experience

- Trade qualified (Boilermaker/Fabricator)




- Proven experience with heavy trucks and/or machinery equipment
- High level of welding, aluminium and steel knowledge and skills
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, quality workmanship and time management
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills
- Basic computer skills (timesheets, job cards, POs)
- Current driver’s licence (MR/HR highly regarded)
- Forklift licence (desirable not essential)
