About the role

As Branch Manager – Warrnambool, you’ll lead day-to-day operations across the retail, workshop and installation teams, delivering a safe, efficient and customer focused experience. With the branch entering an exciting growth phase, you’ll drive sales and service performance, build capability in your team, and strengthen relationships across the local community.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate branch operations across the retail, workshop and installation teams to meet customer timeframes
- Drive sales growth, margins and branch profitability through strong commercial discipline
- Build a safe, accountable and positive culture through visible leadership, coaching and development
- Plan labour and workflow, including rostering, job prioritisation and resource allocation
- Strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and the local community, resolving issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, risk controls and Midland Irrigation policies and procedures
- Further strengthen our culture by driving and embedding the company values across the branch team

About you

- Proven leadership experience ideally in a branch, retail, trade, service or operational environment
- Strong people leadership skills—coaching, performance management and building high-performing teams
- Commercial acumen with experience using key metrics to drive sales, manage costs and improve profitability
- Confident coordinating competing priorities across multiple work areas (retail/workshop/install)
- Commitment to safety and compliance,



with a track record of promoting protected work practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders
- Unrestricted driver’s licence (mandatory)
