Setting the Scene

Our client is a leading Australian university investing heavily in technology, digital transformation and enterprise projects. They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work across the full project lifecycle, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.

The Role

You will be responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, solution support, testing and implementation across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and analyse requirements
- Develop BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Map current and future-state processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Translate business requirements into technical outcomes and support solution design
- Support UAT, defect resolution, implementation and change activities
- Conduct data analysis and develop insights to support decision-making
- Support procurement, RFP/RFQ and vendor evaluation activities
- Maintain high-quality project documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What you'll bring

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex technology or transformation projects




- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with BRDs, user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
- Experience supporting UAT, testing and implementation
- Solid analytical, documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Cyber Security project experience is highly desirable, particularly across technology, risk, security, infrastructure or digital transformation initiatives. What's in it for you?
