Roles and Responsibilities

Business/Data Analysis

- Document high quality data requirements documentation that are approved and accepted by business sponsors

- Work closely with Information Management Architecture, Data Governance and Support to ensure proposed solutions adhere to data governance standards

- Review business requirements as received and provide feedback to ensure completeness and adequacy of the requirements to provide meaningful and accurate estimates for Information Management delivery.

Process Improvement & Strategy

- Understand the internal customers' business processes, identify opportunities and provide effective cost-saving and productive solutions.

- Understanding business strategy and influencing alignment of Information Management strategy with business strategy.





- Assist the business areas in developing a deeper understanding of Data Management developments in the industry and how to best leverage data technology roadmaps to deliver on business vision.

Estimation Management (under guidance of IM Consulting Lead)

- Be a point of contact for all business forums to assess and advise on new initiatives

- Work with IM management and business stakeholders to ensure business impacts and opportunities from data related changes are well understood and managed appropriately.

- Prepare discovery and delivery t-shirt size and Order of Magnitude (OoM) estimates, as well as distribute to required business stakeholders in a timely manner

- Facilitate regular feature estimates and handover sessions with delivery teams

- Pro-actively communicate / update stakeholders on the progress of their requests

- Report on metrics relating to the number of requests received, approved for funding, and delivered
