Role Description The Business Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at Genfinity Global is a part-time hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility to work from home for some tasks. In this role, the analyst will assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, mapping current and future business processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making for events and digital solutions.

The day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting basic analysis of operational data, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the evaluation of new tools or process improvements. The analyst will also help translate stakeholder needs into actionable insights, ensure alignment with project objectives, and maintain clear documentation to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Business Analysis capabilities.
- Candidates should possess the ability to understand and model Business Processes, including workflows and operational steps.




- Candidates should possess skills in gathering, documenting, and validating Business Requirements with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical teams.
- Candidates should ideally have familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team workplace.
- A relevant academic background in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Interest in the events, technology, or digital solutions sector and willingness to learn in a fast-paced global environment will be considered an advantage.
