We are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager within non bank lending to lead origination across the QLD market. This is an opportunity for either a commercial real estate lending professional with a broker network and a proven ability to originate quality lending opportunities or a credit analyst from a private credit fund looking to move into a sales role.
You'll be the face of the business in Queensland, developing long-term relationships with brokers, introducers and key industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow relationships with commercial brokers and introducers across Queensland.
- Originate new commercial real estate lending opportunities across investment, development and residual stock transactions.
- Generate a consistent pipeline of quality lending opportunities.
- Manage transactions from initial enquiry through to settlement.
- Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and broker meetings.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
- Consistently achieve lending and business development targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience originating commercial real estate loans through the broker channel.
- An established network of brokers across Queensland.
- Previous experience with a non-bank lender or private credit fund is essential.
- Robust knowledge of commercial property lending structures and credit fundamentals.
- Experience across investment, owner-occupied, construction or development finance transactions.
- A commercial mindset with a proven ability to generate new business.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for business development and delivering exceptional service.
