Our client has developed an innovative Australian SaaS platform that helps professional services firms simplify entity identity verification and AML compliance.
This newly created role offers an experienced Business Development Manager the opportunity to introduce an exciting technology solution to the market and play a key role in its continued commercial growth.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the leadership team, you'll build relationships with accounting firms, legal practices, SMSF specialists and other professional services businesses across Australia.
You'll demonstrate the platform, generate new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and help organisations adopt a smarter, more efficient approach to compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Generate current business opportunities across Australia
- Conduct software demonstrations and presentations
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to close
- Build referral and strategic partner relationships
- Identify API and integration opportunities
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM
- Contribute to the overall commercial growth of the business
About You
You'll have experience in business development, SaaS or technology sales and enjoy building long-term client relationships that deliver commercial outcomes.
Experience selling into accounting, legal or professional services will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
Candidates from organisations such as Xero, MYOB, BGL, FYI Docs, LEAP, Actionstep, Class (HUB24), NowInfinity or similar will be well regarded.
