We're recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised Electronic Security company delivering innovative solutions across Government, Commercial, Education, and Critical Infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Estimator to drive current business throughout Canberra.
This is more than just a sales role—you'll spend the majority of your week meeting clients, conducting site visits, preparing estimates, and building long-term partnerships while being supported by an experienced national team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Director,
you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities while preparing accurate electronic security quotations for commercial and government clients throughout Canberra.
You'll build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users while working closely with project delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across Canberra
- Manage tender and quotation opportunities
- Conduct client meetings and site inspections
- Prepare accurate security system estimates and proposals
- Build long-term client relationships
- Work closely with Project Engineers and delivery teams
- Attend networking and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline records
- Identify opportunities for ongoing service agreements and future work
About You You'll ideally have:
- Experience in Electronic Security sales or estimation
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, or Integrated Security Systems
- Experience selling into Government or Commercial markets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude
- Current ACT Security Licence (or ability to obtain)
- Current Driver's Licence
- SimPro experience is highly regarded but not essential
