Role Overview We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our Product team based at our Alexandria Support Centre.
As a Buying Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the Buying team with the coordination and administration of the product lifecycle. Working closely with Buyers and cross-functional teams, you'll help ensure products move smoothly from concept through to launch while maintaining accurate product information and supporting key seasonal milestones.

What You'll Do Provide administrative support to the Buying team across multiple product categories.
Coordinate product samples, ensuring they are received, organised and available for meetings and reviews.
Maintain accurate product information, pricing and supplier details across internal systems.
Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets and product trackers to support buying decisions.
Assist with the preparation of range reviews, sign-off meetings and seasonal planning sessions.
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate and deadlines are met.
Support the Buying team with purchase order administration and product data management.
Assist with competitor research,
market trends and product analysis as required.
Ensure all product documentation is maintained accurately and filed appropriately.
Provide general administrative support to the wider Product team.

Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
A willingness to learn and develop within a Buying or Merchandise career.
A team-oriented attitude and positive approach to supporting others.
Previous retail experience is highly regarded.
