The Cupcake Room is looking for an experienced cake and cupcake decorator to join our friendly team in Leichhardt.

The role

- Decorate cakes and cupcakes to a professional standard
- Accurately reproduce our existing designs
- Create custom decorations from customer briefs
- Work with buttercream, fondant and other decorating materials
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe workspace
- Assist with customer service and administration when required

About you
- At least one to two years of commercial cake-decorating experience
- Strong piping, finishing and presentation skills
- Creative, reliable and attentive to detail
- Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Clear communication and friendly customer service skills
- Australian working rights





A patisserie qualification is welcome but not essential if you have strong experience and a good portfolio. To apply, please send your résumé and photos or a portfolio of cakes and cupcakes you have personally decorated.

Work location: Leichhardt, NSW—in person. Our store is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
