Thinkerbell is looking for an amazing Freelance Thinker (Account Director / Senior Account Director) to join our team of Thinkers and Tinkers in Melbourne.

HOW YOU’LL CREATE MEASURED MAGIC

What the hell is a Thinker? We’re glad you asked. A Thinker is a strategy-account-servicey type of person who often comes from a background of consultancy, adland, social or media agency, or brand strategy, or earned, or from the coffee shop down the road, but is really really smart.

They ask a lot of questions and listen very carefully for the answers. They’re problem solvers and punctual, and know how to drive business results. They can manage processes and are business minded and they know how to get shit done.

THE TASK AT HAND

As a Thinker , you are a leader within the agency, driving a range of ambitious and creative projects for our clients, focusing on brand-led ideas that push the boundaries of strategy and creativity, from insight to execution.

You are an innovator and influencer, building strong relationships with existing and potential clients, responsible for business growth through providing clients with sound strategic and creative solutions. You have an opinion and are an invaluable team member mentoring Thinkers and Lead Thinkers, helping them to achieve their full potential.

You'll have three big things to do:

1.BRAND AND CREATIVE STRATEGY

You’ll guide your squad in the development of brand strategy and creative ideas that build our client’s brands and help change behaviours. You’ll work closely with your Core Thinker & Tinker, having a guiding voice throughout the ideation process and providing direction to ensure everything is executed to the highest standard with cross functional collaboration at the core. You take accountability for the work,



knowing when to weigh in on a conversation and how to get the best out of your team of Thinkers and Lead Thinkers.

2.PROJECT LEADERSHIP

You have exceptional project management skills and know our Measured Mapping process like the back of your hand. You are an experienced problem solver and know how to assess potential risks and guide your squad through any challenges that arise. You proactively manage-up, keeping stakeholders and leadership updated and demonstrate excellent financial forecasting and management, focusing on driving revenue and growth.

3.INTEGRATION AND COLLABORATION

You know your client’s business inside out and understand the challenges they face, the industry context and how we can help solve their business problems. You oversee our squads to ensure they function as an extension of their team, and are tight with the Head Tinker. You know how to listen and when to challenge and push the boundaries when required to help our clients find exceptional creative solutions that build their businesses and grow our relationship and profile.
