BRITISH CARPENTERS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team in Strathtulloh, Victoria. The successful applicant will undertake high-quality carpentry work across residential and commercial construction projects while maintaining excellent workmanship and complying with workplace health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber, wood-based products and other building materials.
- Construct, install and repair wall frames, roof frames, flooring systems, doors, windows, staircases and other structural components.
- Install cladding, skirting boards, architraves, doors and other internal and external fixtures.
- Erect and dismantle formwork for concrete structures where required.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.




- Work effectively with supervisors, clients and other trades to deliver projects on time.

Essential Requirements
- Relevant trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Carpenter.
- Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, building materials and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- White Card and a current Australian driver's licence are desirable.
