Role Description The Casual AI Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Brisbane Area. In this role, the teacher will deliver AI and robotics workshops to K–12 students in schools and community centers, facilitating interactive and safe hands-on activities.

Responsibilities include planning and preparing age-appropriate lessons, adapting teaching materials to different student levels, and demonstrating the use of robotics tools and AI concepts in an engaging way. The teacher will provide clear explanations, guide students through projects, assess learning outcomes,



and offer feedback to help learners build confidence in technology and problem-solving. The role also involves collaborating with school staff, following Airbotix’s curriculum guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching materials and classroom experiences.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in education-focused skills, including Education and Teaching, with experience working with K–12 students.

Ability to plan and structure effective learning sessions, including Lesson Planning and Training tailored to diverse learner needs.

Excellent Communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex concepts simply and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Interest or experience in STEM, AI, or robotics education, with comfort using educational technology and hands-on teaching tools.

Relevant qualification in Education, STEM, or related field, or equivalent experience in teaching or training young learners.

Ability to work in office in the Greater Brisbane Area, manage groups of students safely, and align with school policies and child safety standards.

Organized, reliable, and adaptable, with a commitment to non-discriminatory, gender-neutral, and inclusive teaching practices.
