Coastal Vibe Cleaning Services is looking for reliable casual cleaners to join our small team as we head into our busy season.
We clean a mix of holiday properties, residential homes and commercial properties throughout the Jervis Bay area, with a large part of our work being Airbnb and holiday property changeovers.
This role would suit someone looking for casual, flexible work rather than guaranteed set hours each week. Our workload changes with bookings and seasons, with more hours generally available during weekends, school holidays and peak holiday periods.
What we need:
- Availability to work some weekends, particularly Saturdays – this is not an every-weekend position
- Valuable availability during school holidays and our busy summer period
- Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
- Someone reliable who communicates well and turns up when rostered
- Physically capable of cleaning multiple properties – vacuuming, mopping, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, carrying linen and working at a good pace
- An eye for detail and pride in leaving a property guest-ready
- Able to work independently once trained
Cleaning experience is great, but reliability,
availability and attitude are just as important to us. This is a casual position with hours varying from week to week depending on bookings. There may be quieter weeks, particularly outside holiday periods, so it would suit someone comfortable with seasonal and variable hours.
We are a small local business and offer a friendly, flexible working environment. Because a large part of our work is holiday accommodation, we particularly need someone who is happy to work some weekends and during busy holiday periods when required. Weekend work is shared across the team – you won't be expected to work every weekend.
Expected hours: Approximately 5–15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during busy periods.
