St Andrews Conservatory is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and energetic Casual Function Bar/Waitstaff to join our growing events team.

Located in the heart of Fitzroy, St Andrews Conservatory is a stunning glass-roof function venue renowned for hosting beautiful weddings, corporate events, birthday celebrations, christenings and special occasions. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food, outstanding service and unforgettable experiences for every guest.

We are looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on providing excellent customer service and are passionate about hospitality.

About the role

This is a true all-rounder position where no two events are the same. You will work across both bar and floor service, assisting wherever required to ensure each event runs seamlessly.Your duties may include:

- Providing friendly and professional bar service
- Serving food and beverages to guests
- Carrying trays of food and drinks
- Three-plate carrying and table service
- Clearing tables and resetting during service
- Assisting with the setup and pack down of functions
- Delivering exceptional service across weddings, corporate events,



birthdays and other private functions

This is a casual position with regular shifts available. Our busiest periods are Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sundays, so weekend availability is essential. About you The successful applicant will have:

- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A willingness to work across both bar and floor service
- The ability to remain calm and skilled in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Weekend availability, particularly Friday nights, Saturday nights and Sundays

Previous hospitality or customer service experience is desirable, however it is not essential. We provide full training and are happy to teach the right person who is reliable, motivated and eager to learn. Successful applicants will be invited to attend a paid trial shift, with an immediate start available.
