Casual Truck Driver – Opportunity for Ongoing/Permanent Work
Queensland Specialised Scaffolding (QSS) is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Truck Driver to join our team, with the opportunity to move into ongoing or permanent employment for the right person.
The role involves delivering and collecting scaffolding equipment across Brisbane and surrounding areas, assisting with loading and unloading, and operating a vehicle-mounted crane where required.
Requirements
- Current MR licence as a minimum
- HR licence preferred
- Construction industry White Card
- Experience driving trucks in construction, transport or a similar industry
- Good knowledge of load restraint and safe loading practices
- Ability to complete physical work, including assisting with loading and unloading
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Highly Regarded
- Vehicle Loading Crane ticket or relevant crane experience
- Current forklift licence
- Verification of Competency for crane operation
- Previous experience transporting scaffolding or construction materials
Applicants without a formal crane High Risk Work Licence may still be considered where they have suitable training and experience and can successfully complete the required Verification of Competency.
