About the role

Gareth Keenan Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Chef Off Site Catering to join our team in Ashmore. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis for our off-site catering events.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking high-quality, innovative dishes for corporate and private events
- Be able to run an event i.e wedding, with help, but you would be in charge of the event, set up, serve, pack down.
- Have a valid Australian driver license and be able to drive Ford Transit van
- Be able to help loading van for catering jobs.
- Working closely with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our catering offerings

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in an off-site catering or event-based role
- Robust culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing requirements




- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required
