About the role
MindChamps Early Learning & PreSchool is seeking passionate and dedicated Certificate III & Diploma Educators to join our team at our West Hoxton 1 & 2 (NSW) locations. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in our centres.
Your role as a Cert III Qualified Professional
As a Certificate III Educator, you will be responsible for creating safe, nurturing and stimulating environments where children can learn, grow and develop during their crucial early years. Your contribution will directly impact the wellbeing and development of the children in your care, making this a truly rewarding and meaningful role.
Your responsibilities may include
- Supervise and support children in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, emotional and social development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and experiences based on children's interests, developmental stages and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Build positive relationships with children and families, maintaining regular communication about each child's progress and wellbeing
- Monitor children's health, safety and wellbeing, responding promptly to any concerns or incidents
- Maintain detailed observations and documentation of children's development and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues and the leadership team to create a cohesive approach to children's care and education
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe learning workplace that complies with health and safety regulations
- Support children's independence and self-care skills, including meal times, toileting and personal hygiene
- Respond sensitively to children's individual needs, including those with additional support requirements
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance your knowledge and skills
Your role as a Diploma Qualified Professional
As part of the MindChamps team, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through high-quality education and care.
Your responsibilities may include
- Leading and supporting the delivery of high-quality educational programs that reflect children’s individual interests, strengths, abilities and developmental needs.
- Implementing intentional teaching practices aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and supporting children’s learning outcomes.
- Creating safe,
inclusive and inspiring learning environments that encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging.
- Building respectful and meaningful relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.
- Supporting room leadership by mentoring and collaborating with educators to deliver consistent, high-quality care and education.
- Contributing to curriculum planning, documentation, observations and reflective practices that support continuous improvement.
- Promoting children’s safety, wellbeing and inclusion through responsive, respectful and child-centred practices.
- Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
- Supporting a positive workplace culture through teamwork, professionalism, collaboration and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
What we're looking for
- Current Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification recognised in New South Wales)
- Current Working with Children Check (WWC) clearance for Current South Wales
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Demonstrated passion for early childhood education and genuine care for children's wellbeing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build robust relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories relevant to early childhood education
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow centre policies and procedures
- Physical capability to support children's care needs, including lifting, bending and active engagement
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced early learning environment
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current early childhood education practices is preferred
- Experience working in a regulated early learning setting is preferred
