About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining consistency across our menu, and helping lead the kitchen during busy service periods. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food.

What You'll Do

- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, lunch, and café menu items to a consistently high standard
- Assist with menu planning, seasonal specials, and recipe development
- Ensure all meals are presented professionally and consistently
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
- Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise food waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Supervise and support kitchen assistants and junior staff where required
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures

What We're Looking For





- Previous experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant, or commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Passion for creating high-quality food and delivering a great customer experience
- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Current Food Safety Certificate (preferred)
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
