Role overview Join our kitchen team to prepare and cook seafood and grill dishes to exacting standards, support service operations, and contribute to menu development. This is a hands‑on role requiring reliability, attention to detail and strong teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards.
- Ensure food safety, stock rotation and ingredient quality.
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow WHS procedures.
- Receive deliveries and report quality/shortage issues.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal menu updates.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ cook experience (3 years preferred).
- Experience with seafood and grill cuisine is highly regarded.
- Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Right to work in Australia.
