CC Global Plumbing is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Labourer/Pipe Layer to join our team in Bendigo, Victoria. This is a full-time position supporting our civil construction projects, with a focus on underground pipeline installation and maintenance. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality infrastructure to the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the installation and repair of underground water, sewage and drainage pipes
- Performing general labouring tasks such as excavation, backfilling and compaction
- Operating a range of light equipment and tools required for civil construction work
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following all health and safety protocols
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a civil labourer or pipe layer, ideally in the construction industry
- Strong practical skills and the ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and a proven track record of working safely on construction sites
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods
- Earthmoving machinery experience preferred but not essential
