About Us The City of Marion is located in Adelaide's south-western suburbs, only about 10 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. As one of South Australia's largest councils, our Civil Services team is responsible for maintaining and improving a diverse network of civil infrastructure that supports our growing community. This includes roads, footpaths, drainage systems, kerbing, and associated civil assets.

Working within our Capital Delivery team, you'll lead projects across the full project lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard.

About the Role

As the Civil Project Manager, you will:

- Manage the delivery of civil capital works projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Lead project planning, procurement, contract administration and delivery.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
- Manage project risks, quality, compliance and reporting.
- Oversee site activities to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Deliver projects that provide lasting benefits for our community.

About You You'll be a proactive and organised project professional with experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects.

You'll bring

- Experience managing civil infrastructure or capital works projects.
- Solid project management and contract administration skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, contractors and procurement processes.
- Sound knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Must hold a valid, full (unrestricted) driver's license in accordance with South Australian requirements.




- Must hold a valid and current White Card issued by a certified RTO

Experience in local government, civil infrastructure project delivery, contract management or procurement will be highly regarded.
