About the role

K & L Cleaning Care Services is seeking a Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Mildura VIC 3500 and offers flexibility for those looking for part time or as-needed work. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our clients' premises, ensuring spaces are welcoming, sanitary, and well-maintained. This position is essential to our company's reputation and the satisfaction of our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning and tidying of assigned areas including floors, surfaces, furniture and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Dust and clean all surfaces, windows, mirrors and glass areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately, replacing liners as needed
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and tiled areas
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Respond to client feedback and adapt cleaning methods to meet specific requirements
- Work efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframe.
- Must have drivers licence and own transport.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in cleaning services or a similar domestic or commercial cleaning role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively




- Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift items safely
- Reliability and punctuality with the flexibility to work varied hours as required
- Good communication skills and a professional, friendly approach with clients
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, including safe handling procedures
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines and company protocols
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one if required for specific clients
- Reliable transport to travel between client locations

● Available to work after 6pm
