We are seeking an experienced Clinical & Care Lead to provide clinical leadership in our Kogarah Site. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care while fostering a positive culture for residents, families and employees alike.

About the Role

As the Clinical & Care Lead, you will be the senior clinical leader on site and a trusted partner to the General Manager. You will oversee clinical operations, lead multidisciplinary teams, drive compliance and quality outcomes, and ensure residents receive care aligned to their individual needs, goals and preferences.

You will lead a team including Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators, Clinical Nurse Educators and Care Staff, while providing hands-on support, coaching and guidance to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

- Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the home
- Lead resident assessments, care planning and clinical decision-making
- Monitor clinical outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support best-practice care delivery and evidence-based clinical practice
- Act as the key clinical advisor for the facility

Resident & Family Experience




- Champion person-centred care and resident choice
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families
- Manage and resolve complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect and compassion
- Create an environment where residents feel safe, valued and supported

Quality, Compliance & Governance
- Lead quality improvement activities, audits and compliance programs
- Ensure adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
- Support accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance
- Monitor risk, infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
- Contribute to operational planning and achievement of organisational objectives

Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead, coach and develop clinical and care teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous learning
- Support workforce planning, rostering and resource management
- Manage performance, capability and professional development
- Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

About You You are an experienced aged care leader with strong clinical expertise and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older people. You lead from the front, build trust quickly and know how to bring teams together to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

Essential Requirements





- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' aged care experience within Australia
- Minimum 3 years' leadership or management experience in residential aged care or acute healthcare settings
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning and care coordination skills
- Experience in quality, compliance, audits and continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving abilities
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC funding, risk management and WHS requirements
- Strong computer literacy and workforce rostering experience

Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience coaching, developing and facilitating education programs for clinical teams
- Strong gerontology knowledge and expertise

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Pre-employment medical clearance
