Clinical Case Coordinator (Patient Device Access & Surgery Coordination)
Help patients get access to life-changing implants.
Osseointegration International is a Sydney medical-device company. We design and manufacture osseointegrated implant systems that let amputees walk again without a socket-based prosthesis — technology that is genuinely life-changing for the right patient. We're a small, close-knit, clinically focused team.
As international demand for our technology grows, we're looking for a Clinical Case Coordinator to manage the documentation and coordination that moves each patient case from first request through to surgery. It's detailed, deadline-driven work, and it directly enables patients to receive treatment.
What you'll do
- Coordinate patient cases end to end: gather the clinical documentation, obtain the required surgeon sign-offs, assemble the submission package, submit to the FDA and track each case through to outcome.
- Be the point of contact for surgeons, hospitals and patients throughout the process — chasing outstanding information and keeping everyone moving without letting a deadline slip.
- Respond accurately and promptly to FDA requests for further information.
- Keep meticulous, auditable records and manage many parallel cases at once.
- Work closely with our planning, product and quality teams internally.
- Explicit the current case backlog and then keep it current.
Who we're looking for
- A highly organised coordinator who is genuinely good at document-heavy, deadline-driven work — and takes pride in getting the details right.
Small errors delay a patient's surgery, so accuracy matters more than speed here.
- A confident, professional communicator who is comfortable dealing with surgeons and clinical staff.
- Someone who can juggle many parallel cases, track outstanding items and chase people politely but persistently.
- Experience in a healthcare, clinical, or other regulated / documentation-heavy environment.
Especially relevant experience (not all required)
- Clinical trial / clinical research coordination, ethics / IRB submissions, or research governance.
- Patient access, reimbursement, prostheses-list or medical-records coordination.
- Surgical scheduling, clinic or practice coordination, or medical administration.
- Handling patient / health information under privacy obligations.
- Comfortable with document-management systems; responsible use of AI tools a plus.
You do NOT need prior regulatory-affairs experience or an engineering degree — if you're an excellent coordinator with healthcare exposure and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you. We'll train you on the process.
What we offer
- $70,000 - $90,000 per annum + superannuation.
- A small, mission-driven team where your work directly helps patients.
- Flexible hours and work-from-home by arrangement — we don't run a strict 9-to-5 (our clients and regulators are often overseas).
- Our Macquarie Park office.
To apply , send your CV and a short note on why this role suits you. (Applications with the screening questions completed will be prioritised.)
