About the role

Provide advanced clinical nursing care and expert practice guidance across all preadmission, procedural, and recovery phases.

Lead clinical decision-making, advanced patient monitoring, and the proactive escalation of clinical deterioration.

Coordinate and optimize patient flow, staffing, and clinical activities to support efficient daily Cath Lab operations.

Deliver expert procedural support to cardiologists during invasive interventions while maintaining strict aseptic and radiation safety.

Mentor and supervise nursing staff, graduates, and students, driving a continuous learning culture across the unit.

About you

You hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via AHPRA.

You possess advanced clinical and problem-solving skills,



backed by deep knowledge of contemporary interventional cardiology practice.

You demonstrate proven clinical leadership, using critical thinking and effective communication to foster shared decision-making.

You are an active contributor to quality initiatives, clinical audits, and the integration of evidence-based research into practice.

You embody professional integrity, showing deep empathy and respect toward patients, families, and your multidisciplinary peers.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.

12.75% employer superannuation contribution
