Cloud Infrastructure & Azure Engineer

Shift: 8:30 AM AEST to 4:30 PM AEST

Position Summary

Responsible for the design, implementation, security, modernization and operational support of enterprise hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support enterprise hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments managing 600+ virtual machines.
- Administer VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, and SCVMM platforms.
- Manage Pure Storage infrastructure, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and hybrid-cloud initiatives.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, and identity governance.
- Support enterprise application onboarding, SSO integration, and access governance.




- Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud.
- Administer Microsoft Intune supporting 3,000+ devices.
- Secure Azure resources using RBAC, NSGs, Key Vault, and governance controls.
- Manage backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell and Azure Automation.
- Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting, and technical mentorship.
