About the Job Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting the integrity, governance and performance of our Commercial Finance systems, reporting and processes. You'll help ensure our data is accurate, our systems run effectively, and our teams have the information they need to make commercial decisions. Furthermore, you will drive our continuous improvement agenda by improving ways of working and creating efficiencies in ways data is handled across the business.
Based at North Strathfield, you'll join a high-performing team and work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain Finance, IT, and IBP teams.
About You You're naturally curious, confident working with data, and enjoy getting into the detail to find answers others might miss. You may be working in Commercial Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Audit, Data & Analytics or a similar analytical role. Most importantly, you bring solid analytical capability, excellent attention to detail, and a desire to continuously improve how things are done.
What Your Days Look Like
- Supporting Commercial Finance systems and reporting processes
- Managing and integrating data across key business systems including SAP, Snowflake, Power BI and TPM platforms
- Performing reconciliations and financial control activities
- Supporting month-end balance sheet reviews, claims and accrual processes
- Leading weekly actualisation reviews and identifying potential issues
- Producing reporting and insights to support commercial decision-making
- Working with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain Finance and IT teams to resolve data and system issues
- Identifying opportunities to automate and improve existing processes
- Providing ad-hoc analysis and support across the Commercial Finance function
The Ingredients for Success
- Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A;, Data Analytics, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and digital capability, including advanced Excel, Power BI and the ability to leverage data, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, forecasting and decision-making
- FMCG, retail or consumer goods experience will be highly regarded
- Exposure to trade spend management
- Experience with TPM/TPO systems such as TELUS is advantageous
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline
- A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups
