Your current company Hays are partnering with a number of leading electrical contractors across Melbourne who are experiencing strong project growth and are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join their teams. With projects ranging from large-scale commercial developments and fit-outs through to schools, hospitals, warehouses, data centres and retail projects, there are multiple opportunities available across Melbourne. Your new role As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Installation of cable tray, conduit and containment systems
- Rough-in and fit-off works
- Power and lighting installation
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Switchboard installation and terminations
- Testing and commissioning
- Working safely within commercial construction environments What you'll need to succeed - A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
- White Card
- Commercial construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standardsOwn tools and reliable transport
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to site safety Desirable - EWP Ticket
- Working at Heights
- First Aid
- LV Rescue & CPR
