Join a large, established global business in a genuinely influential position overseeing major capital projects and M&A; activity.

Initially a 5 month contract (with potential to go permanent) you'll sit within a lean, high-impact team overseeing the modelling and commercial analytics behind a major capital project, set to shape the businesses European operations.

Being heavily financial modelling based, with the need to create robust, detailed financial models from scratch. You'll work on projects with global reach, partner directly with senior stakeholders, and have genuine ownership over the financial frameworks that shape pricing, contracts, and capital decisions for a major project, and future M&A; activity.

This is a senior, high-level position suited to an experienced professional with a strong background in transactions, M&A;, or investment banking, looking for a step into a global, commercial role or someone with equivalent senior deal-modelling experience from property, mining, or resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain complex financial models from the ground up (pricing, margin, scenario/sensitivity analysis, contract and deal economics)
- Lead financial evaluation of commercial opportunities, contracts, tenders, capital projects,



and strategic initiatives across international markets
- Partner directly with senior commercial, sales, and operations leaders globally
- Support pricing strategy and margin optimisation
- Prepare investment papers, business cases, and executive-level presentations
- Operate autonomously within a small, tight-knit team with direct exposure to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

- Extensive, high-level experience in transactions, M&A;, investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity or equivalent senior deal/valuation experience from property, mining, or infrastructure sectors
- Advanced financial modelling skills; able to build complex, energetic models from scratch (not template-based)
- Strong grasp of valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions)
- CFA (or progress toward) highly regarded
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a small team with a global remit
- Advanced Excel capabilities
