Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Plumber and Gas Fitter who takes pride in their work, communicates well and enjoys being part of a professional, down-to-earth team.

About the role
No two days will be exactly the same.
You’ll work across a variety of planned and reactive plumbing maintenance jobs for our commercial and residential clients throughout South East Queensland.
Your responsibilities will include
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing and gas-related faults
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance
- Providing practical, long-term solutions for our clients
- Completing clear job notes, photographs and service documentation
- Communicating professionally with clients, site contacts and our office team
- Following company procedures, safety requirements and quality standards
- Working independently while contributing to the wider RTL Trades team
- Supporting apprentices and less-experienced team members when required
About you
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, professional and takes genuine pride in their workmanship. To be successful, you’ll need:
- A relevant plumbing trade qualification
- Demonstrated maintenance plumbing experience
- A current Gas Work Licence— preferred but not essential
- A current manual driver’s licence
- A current Construction White Card
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A professional appearance and manner
- The ability to work confidently and autonomously
- A commitment to workplace safety and company procedures
- Confidence using an iPad or iPhone, or the willingness to learn our job-management software
- Backflow Prevention and TMV endorsements are highly desirable
