Sancon Construction Corp Pty Ltd is a growing Queensland construction company delivering commercial, industrial, government, hospitality and residential projects throughout the region. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects from award through to practical completion.Working closely with Management, clients, consultants and subcontractors, you will play a key role in managing project performance, commercial outcomes, contractual compliance and client satisfaction. Our current portfolio includes hospitality refurbishments, commercial fit-outs, remediation works, social housing developments, industrial facilities and bespoke residential renovations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage projects from tender handover to practical completion.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
- Negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Assess subcontractor claims and variations.
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor project programs and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial construction projects.




- Understanding of Queensland construction contracts and procurement.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and construction compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering or a related discipline.

Desirable

- Experience delivering projects in live operational environments.
- Knowledge of cost-plus, lump sum and design-and-construct contract models.
- Experience working on government or social housing projects.
