You will be the one who transforms detailed, specialist work into clear, compelling stories that resonate with partners, government stakeholders, members and the wider sector.

● Practical experience across publications, EDMs and newsletters, project management and Adobe Creative Cloud
● Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility requirements
● Highly regarded: experience communicating technical or specialised subject matter to non specialist audiences
● Desirable: experience guiding a small team or coordinating the inputs of others The person who will thrive here
You are a senior communications professional with proven experience who is highly proactive. You do not wait to be told what the priorities are, you work them out, and then you get on with them. There is very little hand holding here and the expectation is that you jump straight in.
You are solutions based by instinct. When something is not working, you arrive with the fix rather than the problem. You are also a true communications all rounder, just as comfortable writing the strategy as you are fixing the website, proofing the annual report or setting up the room for an event.
You are organised, adaptable and collaborative, and you believe storytelling is what gives positive work its reach.
Why this one is worth a look
● Work that means something. This is a purpose driven organisation, and your communications directly extend the reach and impact of what they do.
● Part time by design. 22 hours a week, shaped around how you work best.
● Room to grow. An initial fixed-term 6 month contract with a possibility of extension.
