Are you an experienced communications expert with a passion for building effective engagement channels?

We’re seeking a agile individual to design and implement scalable workforce communication and engagement solutions that foster ongoing, meaningful connections with our subcontracted teams.

About the Role

This role supports the Transformation Director and the broader NBN Field Module teams, ensuring seamless communication across operational teams. You will work closely with the full project team, receiving direction from the Director and collaborating extensively with project managers, schedulers, and site managers.

Ideal Candidate

- 3–5 years in Telecommunications or a related infrastructure industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Swift, Teams, Viva Engage), data analytics, and tracking engagement metrics.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex operational info into clear, actionable messages.
- Confident, outgoing, personable, and excels at fostering relationships quickly across diverse operational teams.
- Diligent, detail-oriented, client-conscious, proactive, inquisitive, and tenacious—driven to find solutions and drive progress even when information is scarce.





Desirable

- Degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.
- Knowledge of process improvement and automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Hands-on experience with wider M365 tools and apps (e.g., Teams, Viva Engage)
- Change management experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess current engagement levels and establish new communication channels, roles, and responsibilities for the subcontracted workforce.
- Maintain ongoing communication with managers, project teams, and field crews to keep everyone informed of project updates and operational changes.
- Develop and distribute email bulletins, client updates, and project delivery reports; facilitate and participate in project meetings.
- Coordinate deployment and drive adoption of digital tools and platforms, ensuring workforce engagement tools are effectively utilised.
- Assist with project management and change management activities as needed.
