About the Role

Community support underpins everything we do, and community fundraising plays a vital role in enabling Youth Off The Streets to deliver life‑changing services for children and young people.

As our Community Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in delivering our individual giving program by coordinating, developing and delivering community fundraising campaigns. Working closely with the Community Fundraising Specialist and the wider fundraising team, you’ll help bring high‑impact fundraising moments to life throughout the year.

In this role, you’ll support the rollout of a new flagship community fundraising event and contribute to initiatives such as DIY fundraising, school fundraising, and fundraising with workplaces and community groups. This position is based at our Head Office in Alexandria.

What you’ll do

- Play a key role in delivering major annual community fundraising campaigns, meeting deadlines and supporting high‑impact fundraising moments throughout the year
- Independently manage signature campaigns (e.g.,



City2Surf and Cup of Kindness) taking ownership of planning, coordination and delivery
- Coordinate campaign logistics, including fundraising kits, collateral updates and supporter communications
- Deliver exceptional supporter care by responding promptly and professionally to fundraiser enquiries
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records across CRM systems and online fundraising platforms
- Provide high‑quality administrative support, including managing the community fundraising calendar, registers and day‑to‑day coordination
- Help develop and refresh resources and digital content that inspires and empowers community fundraisers
- Coordinate supporter journeys so every touchpoint from first contact to celebration feels meaningful and timely
- Contribute to key fundraising targets (income, acquisition, average fundraising amount, activation rates) and use data‑informed insights to support continuous improvement
- Uphold privacy, confidentiality and child safety obligations in all aspects of your work

What you’ll bring

- Robust project management skills and the ability to deliver multichannel activity on time and to a high standard
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidence presenting to new audiences

- Strong relationship‑building skills

- Prior customer service experience

- Previous fundraising experience

- Confidence navigating CRM systems

Desirable

- Experience supporting community events or peer‑to‑peer fundraising




- Experience using community fundraising platforms (e.g., Funraisin)
