Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care Services (OLOC) is seeking caring, reliable, and self-motivated Domestic Cleaning Support Workers to assist older people living independently in their own homes.

This role plays an significant part in helping clients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment while supporting their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities (Aged Care):

- Provide domestic cleaning services in accordance with individual care plans and organisational standards.

- Perform household tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, and changing bed linen.

- Monitor and report any health, safety, or environmental concerns observed during home visits.

- Promote client independence, dignity, choice, and well-being at all times.

- Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment while following infection control procedures.

- Travel independently between client homes and maintain accurate records of services provided.





- Attend team meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria:

- MUST be available from 7.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (PPT-minimum 3 weekdays).

- Weekend work very unlikely.

- Current NSW Class C Driver's License with own car.

- Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

- National Criminal History Record Check.

- Evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination.

- Previous experience in domestic cleaning, home care, aged care, hospitality, or a related field is highly desirable.

- Genuine commitment to supporting older people to remain living safely and independently at home.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Solid attention to detail and high cleaning standards.

- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy work ethic.

- Valid Australian work rights.

Hours & Flexibility:

- Commencing at approximately 10–15 hours per week.

- This role is not suitable for applicants seeking work exclusively during school hours.

- Hours are expected to increase gradually to 20–25 hours per week.

- Additional hours may be available to cover staff leave and increased client demand.

- Weekly rosters are provided in advance.
