Description About Us Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is a member organisation of Touch Football Australia (TFA) and benefits from strategic partnerships with both the National Rugby League (NRL) and Queensland Rugby League (QRL). Touch Football is one of Queensland’s most popular participation sports, with over 200,000 participants engaging in the sport annually through affiliates, school competitions and events.

Premier City Touch (PCT) is owned and operated by Queensland Touch Football and conducts social competitions in multiple venues across Brisbane, including Newmarket, Mt Gravatt, Fairfield, Chelmer, Bardon, West End and Bellbowrie. Premier City Touch competitions are played three nights (Monday through Wednesday) across five seasons each year. Premier City Touch also runs the very successful Casuarina Cup (Cas Cup) annually.

Location The role will be located in our head office at QRL House in Milton, Brisbane. Position Overview The Competition Manager, Premier City Touch is responsible for providing leadership,



support and delivery of PCT operations, ensuring the ongoing promotion, improvement and development of competitions and events, while building strong relationships with our customers, staff, venues, local government, and partners. Reporting to the Manager Commercial, Events & Strategy, the role will oversee PCT Staff, Venue Organisers and Referees to ensure operations are conducted professionally to the highest standard and maintain a positive customer experience.

Essential Requirements

- First Aid Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Drivers Licence
- Exceptional drive and ability to work independently, priorities and manage workloads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Commitment to teamwork and work within a small team environment
- Experienced at setting and exceeding targets
- Proven ability to problem solve through innovative thinking

Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of touch football and/or sporting organisations
- Experience in competition management, sports administration or similar
- Previous experience using MySideline, or similar online competition management systems
- An energetic, motivated, enthusiastic self-starter
