The Role

As a Locum Clinical Assessor / Triage Delegate, you'll:

- Deliver structured phone-based triage, screening and reviews
- Identify risk, urgency and appropriate referral pathways
- Escalate safeguarding concerns in line with governance processes
- Document outcomes accurately within assessment systems
- Communicate next steps clearly to clients and families
- Manage a daily KPI-based caseload, fully remote
- Liaise with assessment teams to ensure smooth client transitions

This role suits clinicians who are confident, decisive, and comfortable working independently — people who don't need hand-holding to deliver quality outcomes at pace.

The Contract

- Locum contract, fully remote after induction
- September start
- 3–5 days per week
- Minimum 3–4 months, with strong likelihood of extension
- $69.81 per hour + 12% super
- Paid weekly
- IT equipment supplied
- Comprehensive induction based in the inner northern suburbs, then work from wherever suits you

About You

You'll have

- Current Comprehensive Assessor certification (AA3), plus Triage Delegate certification visible on your MAC Learning Transcript
- Recent experience within the Single Assessment Service
- Strong, independent clinical judgement
- Confidence delivering structured phone-based assessments
- Accurate, audit-ready documentation skills
- A track record of meeting KPI and quality standards
