Calibrate Consulting is a growing specialist provider of project planning, programming, construction logistics, commercial advisory, claims management, and dispute resolution services to the construction and infrastructure industries.

The Role

We're looking for a Consultant Planner to join our team and work closely with our Director, Planning, Risk and Delivery. You'll focus on technical analysis, quantification, project planning, and program development, with the opportunity to learn directly from one of the industry's most experienced practitioners and grow your professional profile under his mentorship.

What You'll Do

- Support construction and delivery strategy development, including reviewing alternative delivery options and contingency planning
- Assist with drafting technical and contractual correspondence, including extensions of time, disruption claims, and acceleration claims
- Draft narratives for Expert Reports
- Review, analyse, and tabulate project documentation and data
- Manage your own time and utilisation, with support from your Matter Lead
- Engage with clients and industry contacts, and represent Calibrate at seminars and networking events





What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years' construction or engineering experience (planning/programming experience preferred but not essential - we value candidates keen to learn)
- A construction-related degree or qualification
- At least 3 years on-site experience
- Sydney-based preferred; we'll also consider strong Brisbane candidates
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a diligent, professional approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
