An exceptional opportunity exists for an accomplished Construction Manager to join a major mining operation delivering a portfolio of high-value capital projects.

This is a pivotal site-based leadership role responsible for the safe and successful execution of complex construction works across large-scale mining infrastructure. Working as part of the owner's project team, you will provide strategic construction leadership while ensuring delivery excellence across safety, quality, schedule and commercial performance.

This long-term contract offers the opportunity to contribute to significant projects with the potential for ongoing work beyond the initial programme.

The Opportunity

As Construction Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple construction packages from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover. You will work closely with engineering, project controls, operations and contractor partners to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations. Success in this role will come from your ability to influence stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and proactively manage delivery across complex brownfield or greenfield mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the safe execution of major construction packages.
- Drive performance across safety, quality, cost and schedule.
- Provide leadership to contractors and project delivery teams.
- Ensure compliance with client governance, HSE and environmental standards.
- Review and approve construction methodologies and execution strategies.
- Monitor contractor performance and optimise delivery outcomes.
- Lead commissioning,



completion and project handover activities.
- Foster cooperative relationships across project stakeholders.

About You

You are a proven Construction Manager with extensive experience delivering major mining infrastructure projects from the client/owner's side. Your background includes the successful delivery of tailings storage facilities, residue dams or large earthworks infrastructure, supported by exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will also bring

- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience leading construction on major mining capital projects.
- Demonstrated success managing large portfolios of concurrent construction works.
- Strong client-side experience working with EPC, EPCM and D&C; delivery partners.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management, contractor governance and quality assurance.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and delivery programmes.
- A commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
