About the Role
As a Consultant Radiologist, you will provide high-quality diagnostic radiology services whilst ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. You will work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, technical staff, clerical staff and operational teams to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive diagnostic radiology services across Queensland X-Ray sites.
- Reporting a broad range of imaging studies.
- Participating in hospital and community-based imaging services.
- Supporting regional and out-of-town service coverage where required.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and referrer engagement.
- Teaching and mentoring trainees and junior clinicians.
- Supporting quality assurance, accreditation and clinical governance activities.
- Participating in research, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- FRANZCR or equivalent specialist radiology qualification.
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility to apply/obtain).
- Strong diagnostic radiology skills across general imaging.
- Subspecialty interests welcomed including Breast, MSK, Interventional, Neuroradiology, Cardiac or Body Imaging.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Interest in education, mentoring and professional development.
