Positive Disruption is recruiting on behalf of a client: a lean, scaling technical consulting business. We're looking for a Content & AI Marketing Manager to build out and run their content and digital marketing function.
This is a true small-business role, not a seat in a big marketing department. There's no layer of sign-off between you and a decision, and no legacy team or tooling to work around; you're building the function largely from scratch. You'll run the content engine day to day covering website updates, LinkedIn, a monthly newsletter, video scripts, award submissions, and marketing collateral, using AI tools to get more done without a big team around you.
You'll also partner directly with the CEO/Founder on brand positioning, messaging and how the business goes to market, contributing insight rather than running a formal strategy process. In a business this size, that direct access is simply how the day-to-day works, not a step up to a strategy seat.
What success looks like:
This isn't about doing everything at once across every channel. The early priority is building a repeatable content operating model, then earning the right to expand scope as results are proven. Over time you'll be measured against real business outcomes, not just activity:
- Increased market visibility in our target sectors
- Qualified opportunities and conversations generated through your work
- Better use of our existing intellectual property (reports, insights, case studies)
- A repeatable, AI-supported content operating model that scales without more headcount
What you'll actually be doing:
- Managing website content, LinkedIn (company page and select leadership profiles),
and a monthly newsletter
- Turning technical material and existing IP into articles, blogs, and campaign content
- Running AI-supported video production workflows (HeyGen or similar) from script to publish
- Coordinating award submissions and marketing collateral for sales and proposals
- Building repeatable AI-supported workflows so output scales without headcount
- Partnering directly with the CEO/Founder on brand positioning, messaging and how the business goes to market
What we're looking for:
- Solid B2B content and marketing experience, ideally in technology, professional services, or a technical/industrial sector
- Comfortable translating complex technical material into clear, credible content
- Real, hands-on experience running LinkedIn company and personal profile content
- Practical, everyday use of AI tools in your marketing workflow, not just familiarity with them
- Confident enough to offer a point of view on brand and messaging, without needing to run a full brand strategy process
- Organised and self-directed; you can run a content calendar without close supervision
Hours and structure:
2 days per week. This can be worked as two full days or spread flexibly across the week, whatever suits your other commitments.
Who this suits:
Could be a great fit if you're already working on a fractional or part time basis and are looking to add a new client, or if you're an experienced marketer looking for genuine part-time work that fits around family or other commitments. Either way, you'll be comfortable in a true small-business setting: hands-on, low process, and close to the people making the decisions.
