If you can shoot it, cut it and make it perform on social, this is a role built around that skill.
Our client is a quick-growing Australian AgTech platform building the intelligence layer for modern agricultural operations. Their technology already solves expensive, practical problems for producers across the country, and the ambition is global. The next chapter is helping more people see it, which means video and social done properly.
This is a newly created role, reporting to the Creative Director and working alongside the national marketing, digital and design team.
The role
Social video editing is the core of this job. You will take raw footage from the field and turn it into content that stops the scroll: producer stories, product demonstrations, how-to explainers and campaign assets, cut and re-cut for each platform.
You will:
- Own the organic social channels end to end, including calendar, copy and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Shoot and edit short-form video from concept through to final cut, adapting versions for each platform and each stage of the customer journey
- Travel to properties and customer sites around Australia to capture producer stories, demonstrations and real-world use cases
- Build motion graphics and animation to lift product and campaign content
- Create photography, graphics and digital assets alongside video
- Support paid media with creative variations built for testing on Meta, TikTok and YouTube
- Build a content library the whole business can draw on, and use performance data to shape what comes next
- Contribute to customer communications and campaigns where content is needed, though this is a small part of the role rather than the focus
About you
You are a video-first content creator. Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut or similar are second nature,
and you can move from a rough phone clip to a finished, on-brand edit without a production crew behind you.
You understand social platforms as a practitioner. You know what works on TikTok, why it dies on LinkedIn, and how to adapt an idea across formats without flattening it. You are comfortable both behind a camera and in front of one.
An understanding of agriculture, farming or rural communities will set you apart. Producers can tell when content is made by someone who has never been on a property, and it changes how they respond. You do not need to have worked in the industry, but a genuine interest in it matters.
Helpful but not essential: agritech or rural industry experience, content for technology products, paid media campaign support, photography.
What is on offer
- $90,000 plus superannuation
- North Shore office, close to transport, with flexibility in your week
- A high growth environment where you own outcomes rather than a checklist
- Real creative ownership and the autonomy to test ideas
- Travel across Australia as part of the job, not on top of it
- A clear runway to build a content function from scratch and shape how it works
The first ninety days
You will get deep on the product, the customers and the brand, audit the existing channels, establish a production rhythm that holds, and build a prioritised content roadmap. Within twelve months, the aim is a consistent content engine across organic and paid channels, with stronger engagement and faster turnaround.
